Drilled break rotors and ceramic break pads: good or bad idea?
Please share your experience after installing drilled break rotors and/or ceramic break pads. I have 2002 626 automatic and am considering replacing the old rotors with the new drilled ones and trying the ceramics pads ("low noise and dust" advertised). Does it improve vehicle handling and breaking distance? Any vibration? Does the breaking become "firm" and short-distanced (like in a BMW)? Is it worth spending money?
