Hi, my MPV 2001 CEL comes on for a day or two and goes off for a couple of days. I had the plugs and wires changed 3 months ago becuase the CEL was flashing. Now it just comes on and goes off.
Does anyone have any ideas or can provide me with a starting point to this issue?

Would have to agree with mmt. When the CEL is coming on and off,an intermittent faultis beingdetected and code should be stored. There are over 100 different codes that can be stored so immpossible to guess at what it might be.Many auto parts stores will retrieve this code number for you free of charge to save having to go to a shop. Code should start with the letter P and then followed by 4 numerical digits such as P0171 or P1518.
Code should remain in memory even with light off but would have a much better chance of getting the correct codes is checked when light is on.
