cd player fault

Default cd player fault

Ever since i bought my mazda the cd player skips.But the radio works fine.Do mazda cd players have this fault or is mine just bucked.Its in a mazda 6 and skips on any bump.It will work fine when the car is stationary.

Mine only did this twice, when I was driving over bumpy, rough roads.
Most automotive CD players these days have a read-ahead feature so they spool ahead approx 10-12 secs, similar to your computer's printer. It sounds like something is wrong with your player.

BTW: The word is "skips."

thanks i will have to see if i can get my hands on another one. i live in cavan in ireland so all the roads are very bumpy so it might not work to well anyway.

You have an internal fault inside your CD player causing the cd to skip, The only fix for these is to replace them. Your only hope to find one is to purchase a take out that someone has upgraded there's. Mazda uses a company called United Radio and is an exchange radio program only. Ebay is your best bet.
