Default Brake fluid in power steering pump..OOPS!!!

Someone by accident poured a small can full of brake fluid in my power steering pump. My question is will it cause any damage, and if so how can I get it out. Do I need to take the return hose off and drain it. A local parts store told me that it will swell up the seals and make it start leaking. Thanks for any additional info.

DEF. REPLACE THE FLUID WITH POWERSTEERING FLUID-DO THIS FLSH AT LEAST A COUPLE TIMES BEFORE YOU DRIVE -THIS SHOULD BE OK BUT IF YOU LEAVE IT IN YES -YOUR POWER STEERING RACK AND PUMP WILL REQUIRE REPLACEMENT
