Hi all, first post ere,

my 2001 1.8 Premacy has recently started setting off the alarm about 20 minutes after parking up for the night, i have to find the keys and deactivate it from my kitchen window, usually it can go off again and sometimes doesnt,when i try start engine in morn it clicks over once and fails to start as if theres not enough power coming from the battery,local mechanic used diagnostics on the car but no error codes appeared, he did however test the voltage output into the battery which seemed a tad high at 16v, so his recommendation was to replace the 8yr old battery, did that last night and 15 mins later the alarm went off again :-(

anyone any ideas or have heard of a similar problem?
