ac
with ac on, experiencing fan whine and water running into passenger footwell only during left turns as well as moderate to sharp left curves...would appreciate any guideance before I seek professional help

Yup. That's always the culprit. There is probably a bunch of gunk that's built up over time. You don't say what your driving, but this is something that can happen to any car w- A/C.
The fan whine "could" be the blades of the fan scalping the water that is certainly building up in the housing.
