Default 2005 Mazda 6 issue

I have a question about my car. I have looked on this website at a lot of the vibrating questions and answers but can't find my problem. I'm new to this and need help!! My car is no longer under warranty. It's a 2005 Mazda 6 2.3 Liter. The problem is it makes a vibrating noise. it seems to be coming from the front somewhere. It only happens when I am stopped at a light. When I put it in nuetrul it stops. The noise happens when it's in reverse, or in gear but only when i am stopped. Can someone please help me??
thanks

Can you go into detail? ATX or 5 speed?

If your car's only doing this in gear while stopped, take a look at your tach...are your RPMs dropping to lower than normal levels? Does it feel like the car's making a bit of a choking motion?

My car is a ATX automatic. It seems to stay around 1000 rpms while stopped. I don't think its chocking but the way i can descripe it is it feels like it's about to die like it vibrated like when it's going to die because the battery went out but it also makes a noise like somehing is loose or cligging. I just bougth a new battery not to long ago

Default Engine problem

2005 Mazda 6i... All you guy's with the California ultra low emmisioned 2.3 ltr 16 valve engine in the 2005 and 2006 vintage, learn how to pray now!!! the crank gear is held on by a one time use bolt and a slight taper in the crank, when this gear is stressed in just the right way, it WILL spin on the shaft independant of the shaft!!! These engines are a interference engine, so my friends, this means your engine is toast. All those valves seem to run into things, like pistons, when this happens and your wonderful low emmision engine is at absolute zero for compression... Then you think, I will just get it rebuilt, wrong again, nobody wants to rebuild them because they can't get the engine specific parts.

This is an old conversation, but I'm having similar problems as Connor. However, I'd describe my problem as a spuddering feeling while stopped. 'Doesn't matter if I'm in P or stepping on the breaks. I also get the same thing while in N. The pcv and spark plugs have been changed, oil changed, filter good...

Mileage?
Change all your ignition coils.
Clean your MAF sensor.
Clean your EGR valve.
Clean throttle body-----click here: Rough Idling Issues |*MotorWeek

Those are the basics

Check your engine mounts. Especially the main one above the drive belts. It needs to be removed from the car to check it properly.
