I have new fuel filter and air filter, I removed the upper intake to change the two back plugs, although I was very carefull on reinstalling with new gasket could this be a possible problem ?

The vehicle does seem to run a little ruff during idle.

Code P0171 is indicating that the adaptive fuel control system is maxed at rich limit due to an overly lean condition. Vacuum leak from intake gasket or vacuum line left off is the very first thing that you will want to start looking out for. Did the CEL come on after the tune or did you replace the tune parts in an effort to initially correct the CEL being on?

 

Thanks b for the responce, The light came on about 20 miles after the tune, I'll spend some time this weekend going back over the system.
