1995 protege es transmission questions?
I've had a bp-ze mazda protege for about 3 years now. The thing is undefeated on the local touges.. I've trashed several civics, a few integras and recently a new BMW z4 roadster ($40,000+ must hurt getting walked thru the windy's by a $1,300 sedan, even though he thought it was a civic>...) it's a blast to drive and absolutely loves to get it's a$$ kicked up and down the mountains. I really like the car and would like to keep it around for a while but the lsd transmission was very haggard when I got it and I haven't done it any favors, trust me. So long story short, I've been to 4 junk yards, looked at over 15 95-98 proteges, and countless early 90s escorts hoping to find a gt models.. I just want to know if the trans out of any other models can bolt to my bp-ze? I want new coil overs and am considering going to forced induction in the future.. but don't want to bother wasting money on something I can't regularly replace parts on.

I cannot find any es model proteges or gt model escorts in junk yards that would use the bp-ze motor... will any other 5 speeds work? Even without a lsd like the 5 speed out of a 626 or 1.5 protege? Are there any jdm importers for mazda trans that will fit my bp-ze protege? I would just like to know my options. Before I invest anymore into this car. Thank you for your help
