1990 626 Transmission
Hello
My girlfriend has had the automatic tranny on her 1990 2.2 626 replaced 6months ago but she hardly drives it. So it has covered very little Kms since.
Just recently its started to shift gear hard and jerky when it is cold. once it warms up it is fine.
Would this be wrong fluid, sensor or tranny again?
Any advice appreciated.
Thanks
Joel

Should have DEXRON 11 or MERCRON 111 fluid type. The fluid should red and clear; shouldn't have a very strong smell to it.
Check the ATF level after engine reaches normal operating temperature. Park on level area, check the fluid level, should be between
the x marks. If low or over full, can effect operation, as you have.
Line pressure which is control by a throttle cable, maybe out of adjustment. You'll need a pressure gauge to check and adjust this
cable.
Does it have shift shock when manually shifting? Does it shift hard in all gears?
