Default RE: 1974 929 starting problem

If you turn the key to the start position and you hear a click, determine if the clicking is coming from the starter motor or a relay. If it is coming fromthe starter motor and you know the engine is not seized replace the starter. That is normally a sign the solenoid is engauging but not sending voltage to the starter motor,or the starter motor has a burned armature, either way replacing the starter should take care of this.
