Default Hold light flashing on 2008 mazda verisa

Needs help on how to go about solving the problem with my 2008 mazda verisa which is continuously showing the hold light and has very low revs, it's not possible to speed with this problem

Take it to Mazda for a diagnostic code check.

I had the same problem with my Verisa 2008...The mechanic pointed to the ECU.

Sometimes I’ll be stopped completely and I’ll hit the auto hold button and it will blink 3 times and not activate. I’ve gotten it to work before but it’s not a feature I use too often. What am I doing wrong to cause the 3 blink and no auto hold activation ? For reference, I have a 2017 Tutuapp 9apps
