Default Dual Battery

Whats the Advantages and Disadvantages of putting dual batteries in my 92 2600 4x4. I would like to get an isolator and hook it up with a truck battery for starting and the regular things the car runs on. Then the second battery will run the 4 flood lights i would like to get for my light bar i would also like to get. I will also use the second battery for my amp and an air compressor and fog lights on the bumper. Any ideas or comments would be great. Thanks abunch.

No i dont think i will upgrade the alternator until i can tell if i need to. With the strain on the secondary battery alone i dont really see a need to. The drain will only happen when i actually use the extra accessories and then charging the rest of the time. I will be putting 2 volt meters on the batteries... One for each to monitor the discharge of the batteries. Any ideas on the advantages or disadvantages of this?
