I have a 2016 CX 5, paired with a xiaomi mi 5x running MIUI 9. The music plays just fine, but I can't get the mazda screen to show song titles, artist, album etc. Everything shows as UNKNOWN. Also, I can't navigate my phone music library through the mazda screen.
Anyone have experience with this?

 

You might find your phone isn't compatible with the Mazda system.. Have you tried another brand of phone?

 

Yes, I have tried a samsung phone and that works fine. I get the song titles and everything.
​​Just wondering if there's a patch or something I can install on the phone or mazda to get this to work.
