Default Car audio question, how to make full range speakers quieter?

I've got 2 12" subs running of an edge ed7300 amp and 2 pioneer 6.5" full range coaxial and 2 slightly larger JVC full range coaxial speakers. The coacials are too loud. If I want to turn the volume up to get good low frequency, the mid ranges go nuts and bottom out. The subs and amp are correctly matched, so no problem there. how do I make the coaxials quieter so I can turn the head unit up more? Do I buy coaxials with a greater rms rating or what? Thanks everyone

Buy an EQUALIZER. I'm surprised your aftermarket deck (?) doesn't have one. With it you back off frequencies above 500 hz, boost above 60 hz. You could also adjust your Fader to be more to the rear and less to front. Back down your treble, boost your bass. Don't you have a separate subwoofer level?
