Default Code P1250 and Code 0401

I own a 2001 Protege with the 2.0 Liter engine.

Recently did some major repairs, changed the EGR valve, both starter coils and the catalytic converter and the car has been running fine, but now the CEL is back.

My OBD reader is giving me 2 codes, P1250 and 0401.

I know from experience that 0401 is the EGR valve again. I will either try to clean myself or change it.

As for the P1250, Mazda dealer tells me it is the Fuel Pressure solenoid.

My question is can I change it myself and which solenoid is it.

I found a Parts Manual online and these are different part numbers I have found for a valve solenoid :

Part#, (where it is located)
BP4Y-18-741, valve solenoid (part of cruise control assembly)
Z504-18-741A, valve solenoid (near EGR valve)
FS05-18-741, Valve, No. 1 Solenoid
KL01-18-741, Valve, No. 2 Solenoid

Is it possible the Fuel Pressure solenoid is causing the EGR valve to send out the CEL code, my EGR valve is only 4 months old.

Any help would be appreciated. Bob
