Default Adding Navigation System in 2016 CX-5

New here. Just bought a new 2016 CX-5 Sport Package with rear camera and 7" touch screen option. What do I need to add a Navigation System? Any suggestion? Thanks.

You need navigation sd card with maps on it.

Mazda has made it super easy for the facelift CX5. All vehicles are pre-fitted with the satnav system. All you do is buy the SD card from the parts department & your away laughing.

Just buy a Garmin and mount it on the dash. At least you can move it to different vehicles and update it outside the car.

Thanks much y'all. However, $400 is pretty high. Bittersweet my friend and I probably pickup one soon. Again, thanks.

Historically there have been problems with the nav system-I don't know if they fixed them on the 16. I second the "buy a windshield mount unit" advice. I have a Magellan that I can switch to my toy or use in rental cars.

I have a 2016 CX-5 GT w/ the Tech. pkg. We don't use the nav system in our car. We use the Waze app on our cell phones instead of the nav system. Works a lot better. If I could get rid of the nav system, I would. It's worthless to us, except when we sell the car.
