Mazda 5 Oil Pan Replacement
Wife ran a curb and cracked the oil pan on our 2012 Mazda 5 van.
I need to replace it, and know I need to loosen the transaxle bolts to give it some space, but I cannot tall which ones I need to loosen, or how many there are.
Can anyone provide some direction? I have the airbox and battery tray out, and there are supposed to be some at the top I can see, but I don't.

I can't say i have ever had to do one on that van. It pays 6 hours labor which sounds to me like the trans might have to come out. I have had to remove transmissions in order to get the pan out but never loosen one. If you remove all the trans to engine bolts to move the trans back then remove the torque converter bolts also or you will have a big mess on your hands.

The manual i found linked on here says to loosen them, not more than one turn. The pan costs like $400, so i don't want to pay more than i already have to (tow and bent wheel too) seems easy, i can do some things on cars but I'm far from an expert. The directions say to just loosen, if i have to take it out then I'm in over my head.
