Despite what another poster said, your VIN does NOT indicate a Skyactiv engine(187hp), rather the 2.5L version with less power (157hp) and lower CR.

The other poster said “unconfirmed “ engine” lol reading comprehension.

BTW Mazda does not participate in certification of actual engine power output.

If the op did have the non Skyactiv engine it is easy to identify visually.


The basic information posted was to get the OP to use the VIN and contact Mazda dealership or Mazda corp direct to exactly identify his Mazda model specifics.
