Default Mazda 323F BG 1991 - Not getting fuel

Hello Everyone ,

I have a Mazda 323F BG from 1991 with carburetor and a mechanical fuel pump bolted to engine .
Car hasn't been started for about a year , the car was running fine before .
I recently tried starting it with no luck , fuel pump is not pumping fuel at all , all fuel lines are bone dry so i assume its not pumping at all .
Fuel tank is half full with fresh fuel .
Tried replacing the fuel pump with a brand new KYOSAN pump but still no luck , not pumping fuel at all .
Tried bypassing the fuel filter thinking it's blocked with crap , still no luck .
Also tried removing the fuel line coming from the fuel tank to fuel pump and tried feeding the fuel pump with fuel by putting the line coming from the tank to a canister full with fuel assuming it's something wrong with the tank , still no luck .
The car however starts and runs when i pour directly fuel into the carburetor , so its able to run which means it has spark .
I've run out of ideas guys , if you have anything to suggest , it would be much appreciated it !
Thank you !

Did you check this?

Mazda 323 Check valve | Mazda OEM Part Number BR70-42-910A

Item 12 in the assembly drawing image on this page corresponds to Mazda OEM part number BR70-42-910A

Perhaps there's a carburetor problem like a stuck/blocked needle and seat. There is a small filter under the seat.
