Just after last frost this past spring. All the seedlings were planted. 8 Tiny Tim tomato plants are in the box with plastic tubing. We took 80 head of garlic out in Sept. It plants a year ahead so that means the garlic seed was put in right after adding new organic compost. They sit covered and protected and begin growing through the cover leaves in spring. And the cycle continues.

My girl Rey for our daily walk in the park. A swim, a run and after 1.5 hours she's ready for training or naps.

When the potatoes went soft and no longer edible...I built a box...a vertical bin and grew organic potato from organic seed. What most people toss in the compost grew us 10.5 lbs...delicious and perfect Reds.

My mutts. Brother and sister just over 2 years old and 70 lbs. "The Dirty Dozen" dogs on CBC or Facebook for a nice rescue story. I trained Rey the light one first and had her since a couple of months old.

My buddy Tucker and I getting some cuddle time. He's 2 years old, Lab/American Bulldog/Collie/Shepard. I've had him for 2 months in training as my second "emotional support dog".

One the left is a Globe Basil, on the right is one of two Thyme herbs. The thyme will be trimmed and covered for winter. This is also a clone I took from one that lasted 6 years. This is it's first year. It grew over 14" wide and 18" tall.

This Rosemary I grew from a clone from an older one. It grew 1.5 feet wide and over 2 feet tall. It was started in March and was not 12 inches when planted. It will be trimmed then covered for winter. The previous one lasted 5 years.

There were 8 different types of tomatoes in the garden this summer. They yielded approx 50 lbs. I used Buckwheat to support the tomatoes and companion so they don't just flop over. This adds extra nutrients for the tomatoes but use more water.

Brunswick Cabbage and Cauliflower. The moths like them so I cover them all summer in Row Cover and remove the hungry things periodically.

My little experiment this summer...a "Vertical Potato bin". We got 10.5 lbs of organic Red out of this little 2'x2'x3' pin bin. A great space saver!
