K&N SRI=CAI Sealed from Hot Engine Compartment allows only Colder fresher air to get in. I also later installed a water deflector shield in front of tire area to prevent splash up from puddles.

Steeda Throttle Body Spacer It leans out Air/Fuel Ratio from .4 to .7 (good for top end, not for bottom end-----I cut thickness in half! due to my air/fuel mixture needs) 3.0 runs too rich @ upper end.

View from front of car thru Bottom Grille. Plenty of air flow from here to get at air filter, no need to modify Fog Light on this 2006. 2003 to 2005 models require modification as bottom grill is not as wide. The slots in back are in front of the Driver Side Tire.

Baffle keeps hot air from entering intake and is sealed up to hood. Extra Blue Filter is for water proofing---i use it in winter and when going thru car wash. Battery is insulated to keep hot and cold air off (makes a huge difference). Extra Ground Wires are beneficial.

Stock Rusty Bracket Under Air Box. You can use this to mount an aftermarket air filter like K&N, but I would strongly replace it, remove rust underneath and re-paint as necessary. Or do what i did and build a aluminum Heat Baffle.
