General Feelings On the Following...

I was looking into the Veilside Fortune body kit for the 93 RX7. It was the same body kit that was on the orange and black RX7 from Tokyo Drift. I understand there will be a bunch of "Ricer" accusations in the following thread, and personally, I don't know about the rest of you, but I don't need to here them, so keep 'em to yourself, agreed?

I haven't seen the movie, but I have in fact seen pictures of the vehicle you are talking about. I am not going to flame you for your personal preference. In fact, being different in taste can always be a good thing as not everyone will have what you have. Do you have a particular color that you want the kit to be?

From what I see with this kit, you are going to dramatically have to cut out your fenders to make it look nice... and the rims look like a possibly 19-20 inch range! Kit makes the car look alot wider, guess you could consider it a widebody kit. Do you have a price on how much all of this is going to cost you? because I know that Veilside kit is around $11,000 because it is soo unique!

I know the price. It makes the car a total of twelve inches wider, six on each side, so it is deffinitely a widebody kit. I do have a plan for how I will pay for all this stuff. I don't think I'm gonna paint the kit a different color, but my general idea for paint was pearlescent white with ghost flames that stretch over the rest of the car.

$11,000 kit, $5k or $6k for custom rims cut to fill out the kit.

Also it looks like crap IMO. I hate anyhting that changes the entire shape of the car, the FD is too sexy to butcher like that. Go ahead and do an LS1 swap while your at it, because that's no longer an Rx-7 after that.

Thanks for your opinion, but those are the kinds of things that I don't want to hear.

sorry, but the FD is my dream car, I can't let people harm them.

but ove rhte years I've learned opinions of style seldom change so if you MUST buy this kit, or anyone does. I beg of you to make it monochromatic (not 2-toned, one color paint) or instead of "whatever and black" use "silver and white" like the buggati Veyron offers.

the links have very LARGE PICS I'm running 1,600 by 1,200 resolution on a 21 inch moniter and I still have to scroll to look at them so just warning you.

I like the scheme of the car in the movie and those pictures but if I did that I would be copying the movie too much and I don't want to do that. I just like the look of the kit, but the car is gonna be pearlescent white with white ghost flames so it will all be one uniform color basically.
