Default Lowering 04 6

I wanna lower my 04 Mazda 6s, but other than the parts I need, I don't know where to start. What are good brands for doing this to a Mazda(everything I've worked with previously has been a Honda)
I don't want it slammed to the ground or anything crazy, I'd just like to lower it a couple inches or so.
Thanks!

I can't see the original struts lasting much longer, so it is best to change the whole package. Also lowering more than 1.5" may not be good for stock shock and you will need to buy SPC Camber Adjustable Ball Joints for Mazda 6 / Mazdaspeed 6 (pair) #67115 - Revolution Performance Motorsports! , as an alignment is required after doing this. As a matter of fact after doing a search on Eibach, it only lists a drop of about 1.5" because of what i said.
I would suggest coilovers.
A good article about various coil overs: Coilover FAQ - Mazda 6 Forums : Mazda 6 Forum / Mazda Atenza Forum
I am getting Eibach lowering springs and going to lower front 1-1.5" as my mileage is low. Performance Guide | performance-suspension.eibach.com
They also have different packages. Changing the front anti-sway bar is difficult. I would recommend changing the rear sway bar to a 24 mm one from Progressive and new rear sway bar end links. I got the ones from Steeda # 555-1063 (ours is same as ford fusion).
Some other susp bars, links can be bought from AWR: Mazda 6 - AWR Racing Store as they have good stuff.

I can't see any reason why it wouldn't, but will the Speed 6 suspension fit the 6i as a direct swap? My '04 is beginning to show its age, looking for something a little sportier without breaking the bank or getting too radical.
