Skyactive G block
Unfortunately it's hard to give an exact number for how much power a stock Skyactive G block can handle, as it depends on several factors like supporting mods and tuning. Generally most say you can see reliable gains into the 200hp range with boltons alone, but longevity starts becoming a question above that without other reinforcement.
hey there, i'm not an expert but from what I've read, the skyactiv g blocks are pretty solid. I think i saw someone mention they got around 230hp on stock internals, but don't quote me on that. might be worth digging through some build threads?
Ok so read my signature lol
the general rule is on any stock engine no matter the make 15% whp or 30% crank. The problem is this is based on a new engine. With more then say est 80k miles -5-7% on both estimate and if over 100k miles no reputable performance engine machine shop would recommend much increase without a basics rebuild .
Now before you go and getting out your calculators this information is based on YOU first getting a true baseline of your whp from a DYNO . Mazda specifically does not use the requirement to post actual power numbers so those advertised power information may not be what engine in the real world produces.
