Engine knock/rattle
To me it sounds like a valvetrain part.........
Theat could be a sound of many things?
The best thing to do is narrow it down. Make yourself a homemade hearing tool.
Take a Philips driver a 10–12-inch piece of hose and a screw or bolt. Push the hose about 1/2-3/4 inch on the shaft end of the Philips driver. Then take your screw/bolt and insert it on the remaining open end of the hose.
You see where this is going?
Now you can take the blunt handle of the Philips driver and push it against you ear and the other end touch various parts of the engine. This will amplify the sound and you can locate exactly where the sound it is coming from
You can also buy one for about 10-15 bucks on amazon.
