Why did Mazda not name the top-of-the-line models of their newer cars "Signature"?

NOTE: I am not a random person. I have been on this forum (I am drboostfire) but my account got locked out.

The newer models I am talking about are the 3/CX-30/CX-50/CX-90.

Mazda came out with the Signature Trim name around 2016 when the CX-9 came out. The Signature trim was the name of the top-of-the-line trim which meant you got features like a 360 camera with parking sensors (6, CX-5, and later CX-9 models), Nappa leather seats, Standard AWD, LED accents, etc.

But in 2021 when Mazda introduced the 3/CX-30 Turbo, the top of the line trim was called "Turbo Premium Plus" (I own a '22 Mazda3 Turbo Premium Plus). And then the CX-50 got the "Turbo Premium Plus" name for the top of the line trim and then the CX-90.

I know Mazda still sells the CX-5 with the "Signature" top-trim name (called "Turbo Signature") but I was wondering. Why did Mazda drop the "Signature" trim name in their newer models? In other words, why did Mazda make the top of the line trim named "Turbo Premium Plus"?

Trim names

Makers change those all the time. Sometimes trims have a limited run. I do like Mazda doesn’t or well on the 3 doesn’t put the trim name on the car. To me looks cleaner.

I ordered black GT last month, I took a test drive and I loved it. So powerful, perfect handling and affordable 7 seater.
