What to do?
I used to live in Vegas for 2 years. During that time my interior close to my clock started peeling away. Now, there is this big gap between my clock and the covering in my 2010 Mazda 3. Is there anything I can do to fix that?

is it a 2009 -20013 BL Mazda 3? If so this is a very common problem with these cars. Don't know of any remedies apart from replacing the dash.

Take your car into a dealer. Mazda released a SSP, Special Service Program, specifically to the 2010 Mazda 3 for your concern. If your dash falls into the parameters, Mazda has extended the replacement of the dash for 10yrs, unlimited miles.
The same type of condition is being covered for the 2009-2013 Mazda 6. |
Sparky202, can you get hold of the US SSP. Im keen to see what it says. Haven't heard of anything in OZ yet.

Got a chance to actually grab a cup of coffee and read thru it today. They are covering the dash for a "sticky" concern. Apparently, vehicles subject to high and extended heat, 2010 MZ3's, the dash pad breaks down and becomes tacky or sticky to the touch. US number is SSP99. Same situation for the 6 from '09-'13. If I get the time, I'll try to copy and paste, or scan and Email the bulletin to you. Not sure if the separation of material is similar or in conjunction with this issue, but it would be worth the trip to the dealer to find out.
