Mazda Takeri concept at NY auto show
Have you seen the Takeri concept? It debuted at the new york auto show and it looks like an awesome model. Of course it's still just a concept, but if it goes into production I think it could be really cool. It's got a SKYACTIV clean diesel engine. Wondering what you guys think of the Takeri and of Mazda's SKYACTIV technology in general?

First impression: BUILD IT!
I like the lines. It's what the 929 could've been... I've always liked Mazda's innovation and engineering, so I'm interested in hearing more driving impressions of SKYACTIV technology as well. |
Love the style.

I'm not wild about that front end. Way too much overhang.... makes it look nose-heavy. And the wheels look DONK. The sides are good, but a lot like the current 6 series cars... which aren't doing so well in the sales dept. They seem to be or have become an after thought for new car buyers. And frankly after seeing the option selection and current color choices, I'm not surprised. It seems Mazda has all but given up on that car. |
Are the real new 6 pics out yet? I sure hope this concept car has major impact on it.
(Unfortunately all front wheel drive cars have a bit too much front overhang from my viewpoint.) |
