Heads-up on Ebay seller of Mazda (and other) parts

Hello

Bought a (supposed) leather steering wheel from this guy. The style is available in leather so I trusted him even though the pic was questionable. Well, the wheel I received is a rubber POS.

He is claiming 'no refund' was part of his conditions, but since he falsely listed the item, it is fraud. I'm having my credit card company (also the bank I work for) refund the money to my card, and they will be pursuing it with PayPal as fraud. I'm also filing a complaint with the USPS since he sent the item via the mail. He's now committed Mail Fraud by doing so. I'm also filing complaints with the Attorneys General for the State of Iowa, and State of Florida.

Anyway, consider yourself warned:

Unless really pressed for time, like I think I just found the perfect item I've been looking for but the auction ends in 10 mins, I usually do a thorough check of a sellers feedback before bidding. This is not a guarantee of a perfect deal, but it helps. Even reviewing their overall feedback rating, in this case 88.8% of 418... well, that's not good.
This seller has had multiple problems with his items and they seem to run in spurts. 3-4 bad reviews here and there followed by a number of positive fb's. Had I seen that I wouldn't have bid in the first place.
'Just sayin'.

His last negative rating was July of 2011; that is hardly a red flag.
