I have an 06 Mazda3i touring and just hit 49,900 miles, and as you know the warranty is up at 50,000, So I have been shopping around to try and find a warranty company and I couldn't believe the quotes that I've been getting, for example to cover my car for an additional 3 years 50,000 miles the cost ranges from $2200.00 to $2800.00. Private companies not the dealer, so I decided to check with my local dealer as a last resort and couldn't believe what I found. My local dealer(Corey Fairbanks Mazda) offered the same plan at a much cheaper price with 10% of the total contract down and the remainder of the balance paid in 12 monthly installments INTEREST FREE. So if anyone is looking for an extended warranty check with your dealer and get a quote before you buy from a private company. I still can't believe it

 

that's good info. i was going to tell you to refinance through FAMC and get a new warranty, but it sounds like you got it handled.
