Default CX5 and offroad?

Just curious if anyone here has taken their Mazda CX-5 AWD off the beaten path for some off-roading adventures. I know it’s not a hardcore off-roader, but with AWD and decent ground clearance, I figure it might handle light trails or rough terrain pretty well. If you’ve tried it, I’d love to hear about your experience—how did it perform, and were there any modifications you made to improve its capability?
I am doinf such stuff for a while and must admit CX5 is doing very good job.

I have taken my CX-5 where some 4WD'ers fear to travel.

I added a 40mm lift kit, decent all terrain tyres and home built bash plate.

really that'san understatement. The last time I read about your adventures in the CX-5 they had loaded your CX-5 on a shuttle craft and you and it were flown to the moon for a weekend excursion. And upon returning home it took you a week to get all the moon dust washed off.

The moon dust was still dribbling out of every orifice when I sold it.

Leaving aside the above discussion, here are some short videos of my trips:

It is absolutely not a big offroading, but still having fun with CX5!
