Whatsup all? New guy here also in BIG need of help!!!
I now own my second Mazda. 1st I had a lil mx-3 4cyl. Now I have a 95 Millenia S... Looks great inside and out but, it runs rough. Just did a plug oil and filter change and still when driving if I try to speed up even alittle it bogs down REALLY hard! Besides a feul cleansing for the lines and injecters(lucus gas/injector treatment) what could it be? Cus I really wonna keep this car. Someone please let me know asap.
Thanks
Thanks
Hmmm.... I'm not as familair w/the Millenia as other models, but when my 3 was acting similar it turned out to be a dirty MAF sensor.
Another possibility is a problem w/the fuel evap system... 'purge valve comes to mind?
And remember not to overfill the fuel tank either as that can cause problems w/the evap system.
Do superchargers come with a purge? I donno I only thought turbo'd cars do. Anyways I think your right cuz I took it to autozone and had them run a diagnostic test on it and it said check my electircal connections replace or check the connection to the MAF(wich was unpluged). So I pluged it up and now it just runs bad lol. like I can drive over 25mph or it will start sputtering really bad as the check light flashes on and off. Its like this... I drive(lightly pressing the gas) and it will get to 20mph, and the check light begins to flash and when not on the car go's but the check light flashes back on and its back to boggin down and as its boggin the check light flashes and the car sputters to the flashes.
Long winded sry and improper sentences and spelling im sure... sry in a rush we are moving lol.

heres a good site with lots of info. the 96-2001 vacum giagrahm is in color so its real easy to follow but the 95 one below is black and white.it prints out good (11x17 i think) so you can take it to the car and follow it.not sure what was different in 95

Wouldn't a vacuum leak cause the idle speed to rise?
Also, I was unaware that you have the 2.5L Miller Cycle Supercharged engine in your car. I thought it was the NA version. Sorry.
But I was speaking about the fuel evaporative system, an emissions system on all cars w/a closed fuel system. It's required by law (EPA) and necessary to close the system in the first place. Simply put, it takes excessive gas fumes from the tank (pressurized,) passes them through a charcoal filter and are put into the intake system so they can be burned instead of sent into the atmosphere as it was w/cars of yore. There is always a one-way "check" valve in the system to disallow backflow from the engine into the system. If stuck, it can cause symptoms such as you are describing. I know. It happened to me.

I thought only the 2.3's came in the s series? Umm do you think sea foam would help or something alone those lines? I just want this car to run right lol without having to goto the dealer.
Ok so I tried to make it to work today with the car lol. Well it over heated on me and I had to spend 65 unnessesary bux lol to get it back home and the driver said it runs like it needs a feul pump and filter... And if itsnot getting feul properly that could make the maf throw a code do to improper feul air mixture???
