Default Value of RX7

I have a 1984 RX7 GSL-SE with 13900 miles. I am the original owner and it is super fine shape. All original equipment. Never has been in any snow and very little rain. I would like to have an estimate of its value so I can have it insured to its proper value. Any ideas as to its value?

Gsl is the FB model that everyone looks for, so it would definitely pull a higher resale on that note. The low mileage will be a turn-on for some, turn-off for others. I would say that in this economy and sudden interest in 7's, you could probably ask for 4k and eventually get it. You may be able to get more, depending on your local market of collectors.

I always did like the way the 1st gen cars looked, but Mazda really did up the ante w/the 2nd gens. Better steering and brakes for example. And I believe 1st gens were more prone to rust too?
What part of the country has the car lived in?
Does it have ANY rust? I'm sure a rust-free 1st gen would be worth more to a collector.
Stick or automatic?
Can you provide pictures? I'm sure we'd all like to see it, if possible?
