After owning a CX-9 for 9+ years, we just purchased a new 2018 CX-5 GT with Premium Package.
Got a good price, with the Mazda rebates and owner loyalty.

Considering buying the Tire & Wheel + Windshield+Dent & Ding Protection package. Called several dealers and best price I got:

- 8 years for $593 out the door,
- 8 years for $636 out the door, including key fob replacement + programming.

Does anyone have experience with the above package and the price?
Considering purchasing next week and appreciate any feedback.

If you have owned a CX-9 for 9+ years, my question to you is: did you have any repairs over that time that would have justified purchasing the coverage.

For the most part, few people recommend buying the extended protection packages offered by dealerships. They are huge profit makers for the dealerships and are seldom a good investment to the buyer.

I might consider the offering if you are leasing the vehicle and will have to pay for the repair of minor dings when it is time to turn it back in, otherwise, I would put the money in the bank and never look back.
