Hi guys,

I'm new to this forum and I surfed all the internet searching solution to my issue.

I recently bought a Mazda BHALP 2 door car made in 1999. After few days I found a leak in power steering horse and replaced it. After replacing power steering hose, oil start to leak from the power steering rack. I replaced that also.

Now there is a new issue which I can not find a solution.

When I slightly turn the steering wheel there is a popping noise coming underneath air cooler. Not from the air cooler. I think it is coming from power steering rack.

Also power steering hose shakes while I do the turning. I doubt when hose replacing they might have put the spring in to the wrong direction inside of the horse.

 

Run thru the basics first. Rack mounting bolts and the steering shaft to the rack. If the pop wasn't there before you worked on it........
