Performance air suspension by Airlift
6 Attachment(s)
Hello everybody,
My name is Cole from Lansing, Michigan. This is my project 07 Mazda 3 hatch. My suspension is a project build from Airlift, hoping to generate some buzz and make it a reality on the market for Mazda enthusiasts. Forget anything you thought you knew about air suspension cause the game has changed. This is a performance suspension without question and features 30 way adjustable damping, on the fly height adjustment, and the progressive nature of the springs means I can actually tune my spring rate at the touch of a button. It delivers the kind of performance handling and precise response you would expect to find in high end coilover systems without the labor intensive task of adjusting perches to change ride height. Big thanks to Ian, the mastermind behind the design, at Airlift Anyway, less talk more pics and SPREAD THE WORD!!!! In the first place, thank you for posting this information. I love it and had been hoping someone would develop an air ride system for the 3 series cars. I hear that performance based air ride systems offer the best of both worlds... a terrific ride as well as a major improvement in handling, plus the option to raise and lower the car as needed. Any idea what they may be marketing the system at ($$$?) BUT, I must also warn you that while you may not work for the company, you state that your brother does and that borders on SPAM on this, and many other forums. Lasty, you did not show us the interior/cabin controls. How they look, where they are mounted and how operate? Personally, I LOVE it!!! Its about time!! |

As for price info, You can get a rough idea at bagriders.com. look up the Audi A4/S4 B7 slam series without air management (since there are many options, air management could not be put into the equasion). I am sure they will release some closer price info once the market shows a demand. Attachment 5174 Controls are (top row, left to right) front left up, front right up, rear left up, rear right up. (bottom row, left to right) front left down, front right down, rear left down, rear right down. Pressures for each spring as well as tank pressure (middle) |
