I have been gleaming great info from here for a while but just now joined. I have 4 Proteges and a B2000. I live in NC and love the Proteges.

Default Hello

Thank you for the welcoming me to the group. I'm a fan of the Mazdaspeed 3 but was raised around rotary powered cars. I'm on my second Mazda RX8 and plan to keep it this time, especially since it's a Shinka with the original Black Cherry Mica paint. I'm currently living in Massachusetts.

Welcome to the forum. My first new car was a 86 B2000. It was a great little truck. More than enough for what most people looking for a truck as a second family vehicle. Now they say it was underpowered. I didn't notice when I owned it.

As for the Protege. The first time I drove a Protege5, I understood Zoom Zoom. Not the marketing hype, but the driving dynamics. It was more responsive than any other car I had driven and as a result more fun than any car I had driven. I saved the brochure and was confident that I would buy one soon. I understand your love of the Protege.

Welcome to the forum.

Welcome to the forum. Don't be a stranger to the forum. We need more experts with knowledge of the rotary engines.

I drove a RX8 only once on a make-shift track on a stadium parking lot. The back end spun out of control wiping out a row of cones. The next lap, my partner for the day wiped out the cones of the next turn. I decided that day that I was more of a Miata driver.
