New with GTX
I have an 88 Mazda GTX. I bought it because I wanted something rare, interesting, and 4WD + turbo, (among other things). I've never been a wealthy person so I couldn't exactly run to the dealership and pick up an Evo. But I do sort of have a reputation with stalking Evo's through the mountains. I chased one in a borrowed Civic once, blogged about it, and the story has been floating around for years.
I used to write short stories from time to time, all car related. My personal favorite involved taking a total novice and infecting that passenger with the driving drug, in my GTX. It was on a route I was familiar with.
I recently went on a drive with about 50 Subarus and a handfull of Evo's and they chose my route. So that path, in my opinion, is tainted now. Bummer. But I still have my 09 WRX.
As far as I'm concerned my WRX is my property, but the GTX is a sign of my character, my passion.
Sad thing is I'm looking to trade it (GTX) off,....

I'm in Portland OR.
I haven't bothered to list it for sale anywhere. Truth is I want WAY more than it's worth to let it go. This is my dream car. I suppose I'd sell it for $4000 but not a penny less.
The money I get for the car would be used to purchase a type of cat called a Savannah. I actually want a kitten so I can train it and have it mature around me. So if anybody has access to a Savannah kitten I would likely make a straight trade. It's highly unlikely that a Savannah breeder would want a GTX but it's worth asking.
