New CX-5 Owner from PNW

Hi,
My wife is picking up a new 2014 CX-5 Touring AWD tomorrow. We didn't get it today(dealer trade). I had my wife buy this car from start to finish with my background advice. This is the first vehicle out of many that I didn't take the leading role. It was a whole lot less stressful for me. Being that it is a 2014 we didn't get what we really wanted but the wife is happy and that is the most important thing.
Have a great day everyone!!!

First of all… Congratuations on your new purchase…

What other vehicles were you considering / if at all?
What made you buy this particular car / brand? I'm in a similar situation and need some advise as well. Thanks.

We looked at Tucson, Sportage, Santa Fe, Sorento, Outlander, Rav4, Escape, and Forester. There were things that ruled out different ones for us. Head room was the biggest factor and, comfort, engine/road noise followed closely behind. We narrowed down to RAV4 and CX-5. We couldn't find a RAV4 with BSM in the colors we wanted and RAV4 price was about a $1000 more comparably equipped.
These are the reasons that we purchased a CX-5 over the other brands
Head room
Engine/Road Noise
Comfort
BSM
Smoother ride

Congratulations on your purchase! I just bought a 2014 CX-5 Touring FWD myself. I did a LOT of research and came close to buying a Tucson instead but I'm so glad I went with the CX-5.
