oh, lmao, I knew that!
I'm really not that much of a blonde.
It was a good engine if ya ask me.
I liked the 'get up and go' on it. the mazda takes a sec, but it's good too.
it has the same engine as my bf's celica.

Blondee, It means he read your other post about the "99 Grand Am GT and knows what that means.

Though a little on the bright side, I like the yellow cars too. I was actually looking for a yellow 3 HB when I bought mine (not the same yellow,) but my wife wouldn"t have it in the driveway, And besides, the only one available had leather and an automatic trans and I wanted neither.

Vince, just as the yellow was only available for 2004 in the 3 series, it was only available in the "03 for the 6"s.

Ah, hate to argue the point with you, but I highly doubt that. Mazda and Toyota have nothing to do with each other except that they are based in the same East Asian country.
Chances are, your boy friend"s Celica was built in this country, as was your Mazda6, but not using the same parts at all.

I'm not exactly "mazda smart' yet.

He must have an '05 Celica then? That was the only year (while the Celica was produced) that Toyota's 1.8L had VVT AFAIK...and I had an '04 Corolla. 1.8L, no VVT.

Then it's just a Corolla engine if he's not got the GT-S. No VVT for him, and it's slowwww. 140 horses on a good day.
