I am at the end of my second week of having this new love. Black Mica, MT, peppy little thang.

Texas DPS and area law enforcement of two counties and two cities have gotten on my bumper a couple of times (sorry guys, it was not intended to be malice). I can't help it. It's too inviting. It's too fun. Thanks to them for cutting me a break.

I am wondering how I am going to get an aftermarket CD changer and MP3 player and how I am going to interface them, and whether I should get a dash trim package, and what about a cold air intake and GT suspension... mmmm... even saw a turbo package that caught my attention (but may just wait for the Speed 3). Good thing I have ADD, or I'd be fixating and obsessing, spending money I shouldn't be spending..

I've said it for months: God, that car is sexy.

Drive on! Rubber side down, please... I am a paramedic whose first exposure to a Mazda 3 was with one wrapped around a tree, at an impact speed calculated by DPS to be about 80 MPH. Driver lived -- a miracle and cause for Kudos to Mazda. (Mazda didn't live... no hope).

If I were you I'd wait for the speed 3 like you said. Assuming it's one of your options then do upgrades from there. But pick the same color cause damn your car looks hot! Welcome to the forums.
