Mazda2 MPG.....How do I set the display?
 

Hello All,

First post AND first time Mazda owner.....Please be kind!!!!

I recently bought a Mazda2 and am struggling to get the MPG to show correctly - when I am driving it seems to waver between random figures. My last car showed this as a constant (renault). I am more than sure this is due to operator error..... Any suggestions gratefully received!!!!

Sorry, I should have said - it's a 2017 SE-L Nav.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I have not been in a car in a while and had to go sit in the Mazda2 to confirm. Depending on the features in different markets, there may be a button on the steering wheel marked info with an arrow up and down. This should switch between instantaneous mpg, average mpg, average MPH and distance to empty.

My kids keep it on instantaneous MPG which fluctuates wildly. I prefer range.

The other option is in the information section of the center display.

It sounds as if I also have it on instantaneous!!!! I will pop out tomorrow and have a crack at it.......
