Mazda mpv 08 bump stop replacement
 

Hi All,

I'm new to the forum and would really appreciate your guidance.
Got an MPV 08 and trying to replace the bump stop but I'm not sure how to remove the old one.

Bump stops
 

To replace bumps tops lower wishbone must be removed.mark castor washers before removing bolts.use spring compression tool to remove coil spring.with arm removed insert a 3/8 drive extension bar up thru middle of bump stop the retaing bolt is a square drive similar to the end of a socket.remove centre bolt and it will drop away.be carefull the bolt inside chassis rail often comes loose and it spins.in this case a nut will have to be welded to chassis rail
