I lost my fob don't have a key so I went to Mazda dealership had them cut a key off the vin still doesn't work. so I'm thinking the ignition has been replaced. my question is there a cod on the ignition that you can cut a key off. thanks

 

What do you mean by "key still still doesn't work"? Does it fit and turn inside the ignition barrel? Or does it not start the vehicle?

 

it goes in the ignition but you can't turn it same thing happen when I had a mobile locksmith cut a key from the code on the drivers door handle

 

Did you ever try locking the car using the key before?

You have to get a locksmith to remove & dismantle the ignition barrel & get a key cut to the coding of the ignition barrel, or get the ignition barrel re-coded to the door barrel key.
