Maybe a dumb question

Hey guys I was wondering on the Mazda 3 speed, with it having the turbo charger are you required to use a highergrade fuel like Super Unleaded instead of just Unleaded???

Thanks

I believe on any vehicle that is rated high in performance needs the higher grade. And because you have the speed 3 you definately need to use the higher grade fuel. Lower grade will ruin your engine.

Renesis is correct in saying that you do need a higher grade. It will tell you in the owner's manual exactly what grade to use.

Ok, I figured that but really wasnt sure I thought maybe it was also due to what the compression rate was of the engine, like if its a high compression rate then you need the better fuel, but if its a low compression then you should be able to get by. I havent gotten the car yet, I am still looking, My dealership only has two Mazda 3 there that are 5 door one is the Speed (black) and then other is the Mazda 3 5 door sGT (white) and i dont really like white haha. They were trying to find me a differnt color but so far I havent heard back from them. I am just trying to get a good deal, and a car that gets better gas milage, I drive about 66 to 68 miles a day have a GMC Sinlge cab truck sport side, and that thing is costing me about 60 to 70bucks a week in gas alone, and its an 01. So I am just looking at the superunleaded fuel being close to 3 bucks here in TX and iam like i know its only 20 to 25 cents more then regular unleaded but that all adds up, I think which ever way I go I will save money err kinda with the carpayment haha.
Thanks for yalls info again :)
