Key Fob After 6 Months and Warranty
Hi Everyone,
About six months ago, I bought a new 2024 cx 5 for my wife. This is our first Mazda, and she loves the car.
The cx 5 has push button start, and she just told me that she has been having an intermittent issue where the car won't start until she moves the key fob closer to the steering wheel. She normally keeps it in her purse on the passenger side floor. I think she said that there is some warning light on the dash indicating low battery.
I sometimes drive her car, and I always use the spare fob and have never had an issue, so the issue must be with her fob.
I'll probably just replace the battery in her fob, but I was wondering if this is something that would be covered under warranty.
