Key Battery

Hi, my key battery has stopped working and immobilised my Mazda 2 2013. Will it work again as soon as i replace the battery in my key fob?

Is there an echo or is this the same question you asked in another thread you just recently started?

But my same answer you will know when you change the battery.

The key fob battery plays no part in the vehicle Immobilizer. The battery is purely for the keyless entry.
