"info needed for a question, new thread"
When starting a new thread with a question you have about your car, please include the following information:
1) Make, Model, Year: 2006 Mazdaspeed 6 GT.
2) Number of cylinders with engine size, stating gas or diesel fuel, Turbo?
3) Mileage. Add: km or miles.
4) Some service history: My car has 180,000 miles on it and I had the spark plugs changed @ 60,000 miles as well as coolant and tranny fluid. At 120,000 miles i changed the spark plugs, ignition coils, PCV valve (Mazda never changes this unless you tell them to!), O2 sensors before and/or after the pre-cat, tranny fluid, coolant, throttle body cleaning, egr cleaned, Maf sensor cleaned.
5) Any modifications: I have a cold air intake from K&N, cat back exhaust.
6) Your general location, ie California as that state is very particular on any mods. Some countries have different options.
7) Transmission type: 5 speed standard, 6 speed automatic
8) A good description of your problem: Does the condition exist only in gear while brake pedal depressed and/or my A/C is on. Only while turning right.
9) Cel code if possible: Check Engine Light Code
A quality response requires quality info. The less info you give us, may mean you will get an educated (or bad) guess, or no response (odd time you may be the first to have this issue!).
A properly serviced vehicle is a happy vehicle:
Never let your fuel tank go below 1/4 tank otherwise you will put extra strain on the fuel pump, shortening the life of it (very costly to fix).
Put some fuel system cleaner at least once a year.
Get your automatic tranny fluid changed at least every 30,000 miles. Consider installing an external more efficient tranny cooler as well (I did and I live in Canada!). READ: TrannyFluidLife and: http://www.motorweek.org/features/go...t_or_forget_it
