Default Howdy from Texas!

2nd Time Mazda owner and new to the forum, howdy from Central Texas!
Since the wife traded in her CX7 we've been Mazda-less until now. I decided to park the RAM in lieu of greener pastures (mpgs) and purchased a Mazda2 for highway use. I never really anticipated I'd enjoy the M2, it'd just get me from A-B when commuting. Wow, was I wrong! There really is something to be said for driving a slow car fast, that little runabout is just a fantastic little ride. I've been quickly making it mine by adding this and that which brings me to this forum, see link here. I'm happy to be here and excited to be part of the MF community. Cheers!

Welcome to the forum and back to Mazda ownership. That is one sharp looking car. Quite a change from the RAM to the 2. I think the main thing you are experiencing is the handling difference between the RAM and the Mazda. Mazdas are known for their handling making them fun to drive cars that are not matched by any other brand. (except perhaps BMW).

People never understand why, when offered an upgrade on a rental car, I ask for a down grade to the smallest car possible instead. I suspect you now know why a small car may be preferable to a larger one.
